This is one of the largest and most active camera clubs in the North West, with an interesting seasonal programme. The aim is to help each other with all aspects of the hobby. Whether you’re a beginner or more experienced photographer. Photography in the community is promoted through their annual exhibition. Plus local events and presentations to local groups.

Meetings

Between September and June, Lytham St Annes Photo Society normally meet every Thursday evening.

It’s 7.30 pm at the Well Community Centre (next to the YMCA) in St. Albans Road, St. Annes. Some meetings are held online using Zoom. The meetings are generally a mixture of talks, reviews of competition images or judging of club competitions. There is no requirement to bring (or even own!) a camera.

  • Presentations by knowledgeable and professional photographers on a wide range of topics. From nature and landscapes to architecture, street photography and creative work, using advanced techniques.
  • Review of portfolios from national competitions
  • Internal competitions which include both Print and PDI (Projected Digital Image) formats. Plus external competitions against other clubs
