This is a Blackpool and Fylde poetry group. Two literary open mic nights are held each month. One is virtual (by ZOOM) on the first Thursday. One is LIVE on the fourth Friday at the Armfield Club, 9-17 Bloomfield Road, Blackpool FY1 6HD. These events are always posted on Facebook, so check regularly for dates, times and joining instructions.

Founded in 2009, the Lancashire Dead Good Poets’ Society consists of wordsmiths from Blackpool and across the wider Fylde coast.
Page and performance poets, published writers, story tellers, English Language and Drama teachers, creative writing tutors, musicians, song-writers, professional reviewers and more!
They tutor free creative workshops in local venues and perform at community events. Enjoy their storytelling events for adults and children.
Extended Facebook members are welcome to join in activities. It’s a community where you can discuss writing, literary events and performance poetry events.
