If you’re a local resident, many of the Blackpool attractions offer generous discount schemes to enable you to make the most of where you live… In alphabetical order –
Blackpool Pass
In November 2025, Blackpool Tourism launched a brand-new Blackpool Pass at a heavily discounted rate of £99* for the full year! Special Black Friday offer, goes up to the standard price of £149 from 2 December 2025.
This offers you unlimited entry to:

- The Blackpool Tower
- The Blackpool Dungeon

Blackpool Residents Discount
Residents with FY postcodes can now enjoy unbeatable savings at some of Blackpool’s most iconic attractions. All thanks to a new initiative launched in November 2025 by Blackpool Tourism Limited.
The exclusive offer includes discounted entry to:
- Blackpool Tower Attractions: The Dungeons, Circus, Ballroom and Tower Top
- Sandcastle Waterpark
- Madame Tussauds Blackpool
Available all year round, this resident-only deal is designed to make unforgettable experiences more accessible than ever. The FY Locals’ discount starts at 20% off and goes up to 50% at different times, depending on the season.
Blackpool Council is proud to own all these amazing attractions, it is vitally important that residents are given the opportunity to experience them. They belong to the town and should be enjoyed by them. It’s now it is possible thanks to the attractions being operated locally by Blackpool Council’s own wholly-owned company.
To access the discount, select the “Locals” options on the website of the relevant attraction. Discount will be applied once your postcode has been verified. Blackpool Council taxpayers will continue to be able to visit Showtown for free. More details at www.theblackpooltower.com/locals
Blackpool Zoo
Take advantage of their annual Spring offer which usually takes place in March each year. Local residents can get a substantial discount for a selected time only and it’s well worth taking advantage of.

Pleasure Beach
Blackpool Pleasure Beach runs a local residents discount scheme called ‘Wylde Coasters’. If you’ve got an FY or PR postcode you can get the discounted online price at the gate on the day of your visit.
So you can arrive on the day without pre-booking and still get the online price, providing you bring your proof of address. Buy up to four eTickets in one transaction when you bring identification with your full name and postcode clearly shown. More information here.
Showtown Blackpool
Local residents can get FREE admission to Showtown Blackpool, the Museum of Fun and Entertainment! If you are a Blackpool resident and pay your council tax to Blackpool Council, you are eligible for the FREE entry offer…. Now that’s the way to do it!! Proof of your postcode/address is required when you visit.

The Grand Theatre
The Grand Theatre’s membership scheme is the 1894 Club. As a member you’ll first hear about the hottest ticket shows when they go on sale. Introduced in 2023, anyone who lives in an FY district can apply for Viva ‘Locals Card’ membership. It gets you a range of discounts on food and drink, show tickets and events at Viva Blackpool, plus membership of the birthday club and more!
