Blackpool’s annual Ride the Lights event is a car-free preview of the fabulous Blackpool Illuminations. And it’s BACK in 2026!
Tuesday 1 September 2026, Promenade closed to traffic from 6.30pm until 10.30pm
Ride the Lights
Enjoy the Lights and promenade from Starr Gate to Bispham – while it’s closed to traffic for one night only. Come along on your push bike or on foot for an evening of fun in the Lights! It’s the Tuesday evening before the big Switch On.
