Fleetwood Lifeboat Station Open Weekend
The RNLI Fleetwood lifeboat station at The Esplanade will be open to the public, during May bank holiday weekend.
Saturday 2 & Sunday 3 May – 10am to 4pm on both days
Fleetwood Lifeboat Station Open Weekend
Lots will be going on over the full weekend to raise funds for the charity that saves lives at sea. Meet the volunteer lifeboat crew, take a tour of our RNLI lifeboat station, see the All-Weather Shannon class lifeboat and get up close to the inshore D-class lifeboat.
The station shop will be open with lots of souvenirs and gifts on sale. Light refreshments and cakes will also be available in the lifeboat station, along with water safety advice and children’s activities.
Thornton Cleveleys Amateur Radio Society (TCARS) will also be there during the weekend with a special event amateur radio station, taking part in the annual SOS Radio Week.
