Blackpool Council backs national Stay At Home, Save Lives campaign
and asks Fylde Coast residents to help spread the message.
Blackpool Council is putting its weight behind the national ‘stay at home’ campaign and is encouraging residents of the Fylde Coast to get involved.
Please highlight to your neighbours, friends and passers-by the most important action we can take in fighting coronavirus: stay at home to save lives.
Please show your support by downloading and printing this Stay At Home poster. Then display it in your windows and front doors.
This message is in line with the latest social distancing measures brought into effect by the Government on 23 March. The council’s poster, in line with the national advice, stresses the importance of remaining at home to protect Blackpool Victoria Hospital and the wider NHS.

Dr. Arif Rajpura, Blackpool Council’s Director of Public Health, said: “As a community, as well as following Government guidance, we also have a responsibility to work together and share any advice that can help save lives.
“By reducing our day-to-day contact with others, we can limit the spread of the pandemic virus and ease the burden on the NHS. Although many Blackpool residents are following the guidance and remaining at home, we can all contribute further. I urge all our community to show support for the campaign by printing and displaying the poster wherever they can.”
