Local History Walks with Fleetwood Museum
A voluntary donation is welcomed for attendance at walks. Places are limited and all walks start at 1.30pm from the Museum unless stated otherwise. You MUST book your place in advance in person or ring FLEETWOOD MUSEUM on 01253 876621. Early booking advised. Please wear flat soled shoes and bring a drink.
- Wednesday April 15th – Hutment Barracks, Shooting Ranges & Military Groves. Meet at the cemetery main gate.
- Wednesday May 13th – Riverside, Wrecks & Nature Reserve. Please note this walk includes slight inclines/grassy paths. Meet at the bus shelter next to Asda, Dock St.
- Wednesday June 17th – Fleetwood Blue Plaque Trail. Meet at Fleetwood Museum entrance.
- Wednesday July 15th – Flicks, Spangles and Greasepaint: A History of Entertainment in Fleetwood’s Halls, Cinemas and Theatres. Meet at Fleetwood Museum entrance.
- Wednesday August 19th – Fleetwood Fishing Heritage & Art Sculpture Trail. Meet at Fleetwood Museum entrance.
- Wednesday September 16th – Early Navigation in the River Wyre. Please note this walk includes slight inclines/grassy paths. Meet at Fleetwood Museum entrance.
