The Strathdon is a family friendly guest house situated in South Shore on St Chads Road. Named “Street of the Year 2015” in an award received from Blackpool Council and Blackpool Civic Trust.
Choose from ten modern comfortably furnished rooms, all with en-suite showers. After a busy day in Blackpool you can relax in our licensed bar or sit on the sunny patio area with a refreshing drink.

From the promenade you can catch one of the frequent “Access for All” trams and explore a much wider area of this amazing coast line. However you can also enjoy the nostalgia of a ride on one of the fleet of beautify restored heritage trams.

Situated only 100 metres from the Promenade, St Chad’s Road is an ideal location for the beach, the piers, Pleasure Beach and attractions. Central Blackpool, The Tower, the towns premier entertainment venues and Blackpool Football Club stadium at Bloomfield Road are all close at hand.
With Blackpool Transport trams and buses, exploring the Fylde Coast is easy and comfortable. There’s also a handy App so you know exactly which bus to catch and when it will arrive. Buy your ticket from the driver or via the App. Need a taxi? Just ask and we’ll call you a cab.
