Shawries Hotel is a traditional guest house located in the popular South Shore area of Blackpool. Just a short walk from the promenade it’s in a handy but quieter location.
Here, owners Dave and Allison offer you warm, welcoming accommodation for a great stay. They’re always on hand to offer the best advice (including places to avoid!). This guest house is also Blackpool Approved – accreditation recognised by VisitEngland shows that the property is #CleanSafeLegal and annually assessed.
Shawries Hotel has nine guest rooms, all with en-suite facilities. Plus flat screen TVs, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryers and more. Guests also have access to WiFi, plus there are plenty of sockets with USB charging points.
The light and sparkly dining room allows you to enjoy a complimentary self service cereal and ‘bread for toast’ breakfast. Takeaways and home delivery food can also be enjoyed in the dining room, giving everyone a relaxed eating environment. With suitable notice other guest requirements will happily be catered for.

Near the promenade, Shawries Hotel is also handy for all the attractions of South Blackpool. Including Bloomfield Road, the Pleasure Beach, Sandcastle Waterpark and South Pier and much more. From the promenade you can also catch one of Blackpool’s accessible trams and explore much more of the amazing Fylde Coast. Or enjoy a nostalgic ride on a beautifully restored heritage tram. Head south into St Annes and Lytham and don’t forget all the amazing festivals and events throughout the year!
With Blackpool Transport trams and buses, exploring the Fylde Coast is easy and comfortable. There’s also a handy App so you know exactly which bus to catch and when it will arrive. Buy your ticket from the driver or via the App.
