Fylde Coast Ganesh Festival
Join Fylde Coast Hindu Society for the first Ganesh Festival in Blackpool. It’s opportunity to bring communities together, share culture and strengthen the friendships that make the Fylde Coast such a welcoming place.
Friday 25 September from 10.30am onwards, starting at Kingscote Park
Fylde Coast Ganesh Festival
Ganesh Sthapna at 10.45am
FREE community meal from 12.30-3.30pm
Leave Kingscote Park at 5pm and head to Stanley Park Lake for Visarjan at 6.15pm
The event is being delivered as part of Pride in Place, in partnership with Community First, with support from Blackpool & Fylde Street Angels, Blackpool Stanley Rugby Club and Enveco.
Your presence would mean a great deal to us. Many of you have worked alongside us over the years to help build stronger relationships between our different communities, and it would be wonderful to celebrate this historic first for the Fylde Coast together.
Please feel free to bring colleagues, friends, family and members of your community. There is no need to be Hindu or to have attended a Ganesh celebration before – this really is an invitation to everyone.
