Will you support Visit Fylde Coast and help us to deliver and grow your favourite digital source of interesting things about this great area?

It’s independently published and funded by The Rabbit Patch Ltd. We’re a small design and marketing company based right here in sunny Cleveleys.

We do what we do because we love where we live. We want to share everything that’s great about the Fylde Coast with other residents and the millions of holiday makers who come here each year.

Established in 2010

Day in and day out, winter, summer and holidays alike, work doesn’t stop to bring you Visit Fylde Coast.

Over the years we’ve published thousands of pages of content, promoted about 30,000 local events and served up a million web pages each year. That’s not to mention the weekly enews which goes out 52 weeks of the year, every year – full of fresh content.

It’s not just the writing and editing, it’s the technical expertise required to develop and build a product so big. The photography and design skills needed to create the designs, and so much more. It really is a team effort.

Maintaining that level of consistency takes commitment. It’s a 365 day of the year job.

Time and Money

It doesn’t just take a lot of time, it also takes a lot of money. The running costs of servers to cope with the volume of traffic is considerable. You’d be surprised how much it costs to keep Visit Fylde Coast ticking in cold, hard cash.

How would you prefer Visit Fylde Coast to be funded?

We always encourage local businesses to make use of our advertising opportunities. There’s a range of short term and annual options – all offer exceptional value for money. More about advertising here

  • Our high standards dictate that advertising isn’t accepted from inappropriate businesses and organisations.
  • We don’t like intrusive pop-up adverts going off all over the place on websites that we visit, so we don’t use them either.
  • All this information should be accessible to everyone, so we don’t want to use a paywall.

However, publishing Visit Fylde Coast (and critically, growing and improving it) has to be funded in one way or another.

Contributing is one way in which anyone and everyone can help. Will you help to keep Visit Fylde Coast free and accessible to everyone for the future?

Every donation, of any size, counts. And it all adds up. There’s one thing you can be sure of, that we’re very grateful for all of them.
