Small Business Saturday

Small Business Saturday

Enjoy free parking for Small Business Saturday – it’s a national initiative. Aimed at encouraging people to use their local independent retailers and small businesses and boost local economies. It also gives a little extra boost in the run-up to Christmas.

Most local authorities across the country support Small Business Saturday with FREE parking on their car parks.

Blackpool Council

Blackpool Council and the Town Centre BID have joined forces to offer shoppers a discounted parking offer in the run-up to Christmas.

FREE parking is available on selected car parks for Small Business Saturday

Wyre Council

In Wyre a massive 98% of businesses are classed as small enterprises (less than 50 employees). There is a fantastic range of independents offering everything from home furnishings, local produce, cafes, clothing, butchers and bakers.

Smaller independent businesses include Fleetwood Market traders, retailers at Marsh Mill in Thornton, the thriving High Street in Garstang, the distinctive compact centre in Poulton and of course a great choice of shopping in Cleveleys, Fleetwood and Knott End.

Visit the butchers and bakers, use local services instead of a faceless company online. Book a holiday with a small independent agency – anything that will help keep money in Wyre.

Free parking is provided to encourage shoppers. But what really counts is the number of customers that come through their doors.
