Blackpool International Soul Festival 4
June 14 @ 12:00 pm - 11:30 pm
An event every day that begins at 12:00 pm, repeating until June 16, 2019
Blackpool International Soul Festival 4. Exclusive American Northern and Modern Soul legends take to the stage in the stunning surroundings of Blackpool Winter Gardens.
14 – 16 June
A stunning once in a lifetime line-up of world-renowned artists are set to perform at the North West’s biggest International Soul Festival from 14-16 June 2019.
Performing their most popular and most in-demand sixties and seventies songs will be Motown’s legendary Brenda Holloway which will also be a nod to that world-famous label’s 60th birthday in 2019. From Philadelphia there’s Eddie Holman, sounding better than ever and he is joined on the Empress Ballroom stage by Ronnie McNeir, a brilliant writer and vocalist from Detroit who also appears regularly as one of the Four Tops.
From Memphis, we welcome one of the greatest deep soul singers of all-time, Randy Brown whose latest appearance in the North West is both long overdue and highly anticipated. Rounding off this amazing ‘Northern Soul and Motown All-Star Revue’ is Philip Mitchell, such a richly talented writer, musician and vocalist.
To complete one of the most impressive line-ups anywhere this summer is the legendary writer and producer, H B Barnum who will be presenting a Q+A session in The Opera House. Amongst H. B.’s best known classics are Earl Wright’s instrumental sensation, ‘Thumb A Ride’ and Judy Street’s Wigan Casino anthem, ‘What’.
