Set to the famous poem by Longfellow by one of the greatest composers of his generation, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor. He earned the nickname the “African Mahler” although he was born in London.\n\n\n\nWe are pairing this with a wonderful song cycle by Elgar “from the Bavarian Highlands”. With words adapted by his wife Alice following a holiday they enjoyed in Bavaria.\n\n\n\nTickets just £12 (under 18’s go FREE)Available from choir members or on the door on the night\n\n\n\nThis event is not organised by Visit Fylde Coast but please mention you saw it here.
